If Solitaire is the quintessential card game that illustrates the entrirety of the deck of cards, then The Solitaire cocktail serves exactly the same purpose for the Diamonds blend. As with all our blends and any distilling processes, we capture all of the lightest and most aromatic qualities of our ingredients, reducing them down and perfectly blending them to give you and concentrated flavour bomb. This is what makes spirits and the distillation process so wonderful at elevating cocktails when you combine them with the more basic but very important primary flavour profiles, sweet, sour, bitter and salty. By doing this you create a complete package, which at it’s core is the function of a good cocktail, much like the function of a good chef is to create a balanced meal. In this cocktail we’ve aimed to utilise the same ingredients that we use to make our Diamonds blend, adding back in some of those primary flavour profiles from the same ingredients. In essence, this is the quintessential representation of what we were aiming for in our Diamonds blend, but in cocktial form.
