While our Hearts blend packs a whole bunch of classic Christmas wintery spices, the one notorious ommission is Ginger. The classic of desserts and treats is synonymous with Christmas and spices, so much so that some people can even taste it in the neat spirits because they so readily associate it with the other spices. But alas, it’s not present in the blends itself, which means it lends itself to what is arguably the perfect serve for our Hearts blend, the Fiery Passion cocktail. As with all the number 4’s it’s a high ball style, utilising some hot ginger beer, although almost all ginger beer will have some level of heat within, and balanced with some lime juice. This combination perfectly sets off the spices in the blend and leads to quite the cocktail, affectionately called a Gin & Ginger around Brunswick.
