Cardamom Simple Syrup

This simple syrup will add a little warmth and spice to your next cocktail. 

250 ml water 
250 g granulated white sugar 
1 1/2  tablespoon cardamom pods, split and crushed 

Combine sugar, water, and cardamom in a saucepan over medium high heat. Bring to a boil, stir, and remove from heat. Cool to room temperature and strain. Will keep up to 2 weeks refrigerated in a sealed container.
