This fresh and slightly savoury simple syrup will add complexity to your mocktail recipes. A lovely addition to gin alternative cocktails.
Ingredients
250 ml water
250 g granulated white sugar
15 sprigs mint
15 sprigs basil
Method
Combine sugar, water, mint and basil in a saucepan over medium high heat. Bring to a boil, stir, and remove from heat. Cool to room temperature and strain. Will keep up to two weeks refrigerated in a sealed container.
