Step into a world of prohibition glamour, theatrical cocktails and burlesque at Aces Bar, where the line between the bar and the stage starts to disappear.
Smoke & Mirrors is a new kind of cocktail experience in Melbourne. Rather than sitting back and waiting for the next performance, our burlesque performers become part of the evening itself, moving through the room, interacting with guests and delivering cocktails directly to your table.
Every drink comes with a little theatre.
The cocktail menu has been created by Jimmy Snelgrove, Brunswick Aces’ Head of Sales and former world-class cocktail bartender, with each creation built around our own Brunswick Aces spirits. But at Smoke & Mirrors, the drink is only half the experience.
The other half is what happens when it arrives.
Expect theatrical garnishes, dramatic finishing touches, blown kisses and a little mischief from the performers serving your drinks. Whether it’s a cocktail delivered with a flourish or an unexpected moment at your table, every order is designed to feel like part of the show.
And there is still plenty to watch.
Throughout the evening, short burlesque performances punctuate the cocktail service, creating moments of spectacle without taking you away from the intimate atmosphere of the room. The performers aren't confined to the stage. They are part of the entire experience, bringing the glamour directly to you.
